Survival preps: where to get stuff in Europe?
 

Does anybody know where to get mylar bags, oxygen absorbers, big mason jars (in bulk), etc in Europe? I cannot find any shops in my own country which would sell these things for individuals. I have tried to find some online shops in other European countries as well but have not had any luck finding them yet. Please let me know if you know any reliable online suppliers and it does not matter if the sites are not in English.

I read a post on a survival forum one time from Denmark.

The poster said when he made inquiries as to how to prepare, where to buy supplies etc his questions were met with hostility, suspicion and criticism within Denmark.

The citizens of some European countries seem to take such preparations as a threat to their comfort zone or as casting doubt on the viability of their socialist society.

This Danish poster continued his preps but in a very quiet way.

www.iprepare.co.uk are always reliable, and nice guys to speak to. I don't know what Denmark are up to, but the UK have been hoarding since WWII, when times were hard - no suspicion there when buying, and they will also be happy to tell you where to get everything else you need.

Sounds like a business opportunity to me. I know of a very successful business man from my area. He and his wife travel to Asia and other world destinations, arrange for a shipping container to be reserved at the local port, then rent a van. They go around to the local manufacturers, make bulk purchases, take them back to the secure port facilities, and lock them in their container. When they are finished buying, they have the container shipped home, then move to the next destination. What a life.
If Europe has a demand, but no supplier, why not fill that void.
